Article 5 (Period of Effect / Expiration)
The basic course period for each course in the Japanese program at this academy shall be one cycle from April 1st to March 31st of the following year.
2. The academic year shall consist of four quarters, with the start and end dates as follows.
1st Semester: April - June (200 credit hours)
Second Semester... July - September (200 credit hours)
3rd term... October - December (200 credit hours)
4th Semester... January - March (200 credits)
Article 6 (Holidays)
The institute will be closed on the following days.

(3) Holidays stipulated by the Law for National Holidays
(4) Spring Break: March 24 - April 5
(5) Summer vacation: June 20 - July 5
August 8 - August 16
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, classes may be held on holidays if the Dean recognizes that there are educational circumstances that are necessary and unavoidable.
3. The Dean may, when recognizing disaster or other urgent circumstances, suspend classes temporarily.
Article 7 (Class Start and End Times)
The class start and end times shall be as follows.
Morning session: Start 09:00, End 12:15
Afternoon session... Start: 1:00 PM, End: 4:15 PM
Chapter 3: Curriculum, Class Hours, Learning Evaluation, and Staff Organization
Article 8 (Curriculum)
The curriculum and class hours for each course at this university are as follows.
1. Curriculum (Common to all courses)

Article 9 (Evaluation of Learning)
Evaluation of learning will be determined by a comprehensive assessment of examination results, attendance, and classroom conduct, and will be graded on a four-point scale.
2. If attendance status declines due to absence for illness or other unavoidable reasons, the evaluation will be supplemented through makeup classes or other means.
3. Unavoidable reasons refer to the following cases.
(1) If infected with a communicable disease (period of absence required by doctor's diagnosis)
(2) When it is recognized that commuting to school is extremely difficult due to disaster, etc.
(3) When attending relatives' ceremonies and funerals
(4) If entry into Japan is delayed due to reasons not attributable to the person concerned.
(5) In cases where humanitarian consideration is generally recognized as necessary, such as for religious reasons.
(6) In addition, when the Academy Director acknowledges that there are unavoidable circumstances.
Article 10 (Faculty and Staff Organizations)
The following faculty and staff shall be appointed to this college.
Chancellor (Principal)
(2) Director - 1 position
(3) Faculty: 6 or more (including at least 3 full-time)
(4) Office clerk - 1 or more
2. In addition to the preceding paragraph, necessary staff may be appointed.
The Principal shall administer school affairs and supervise the faculty.
Chapter 4: Enrollment, Leave of Absence, Withdrawal, Graduation, and Awards/Penalties
Article 11 (Eligibility for Admission)
Admission to this academy is granted to those who meet any of the following requirements.
(1) Those who have completed 12 or more years of school education in their home country.
(2) Must be 18 years of age or older.
(3) Persons who can enter Japan through lawful procedures.
(4) Individuals with a reliable guarantor.
(5) Able to bear living expenses, including enrollment and study fees.
(6) Those who have clear future goals and a strong desire to learn languages.
Article 12 (Enrollment Period)
The enrollment periods for this academy are three times a year, in April, July, and October.
Article 13 (Enrollment Procedures)
The admission procedure for this academy shall be as follows.
(1) Any person seeking admission to this academy shall complete the application form and other necessary documents prescribed by this university, submit them with the entrance examination fee stipulated in Article 20 by the designated deadline.
(2) Applicants who have completed the procedures in the preceding paragraph will be reviewed, and successful candidates will be selected.
(3) Those admitted to this college must complete the admission procedures by paying the admission fee specified in Article 20 and submitting the necessary documents.
Article 14 (Leave of Absence and Return to School)
When a student intends to take a leave of absence for seven days or more due to illness or other unavoidable circumstances, they must submit an application for leave of absence, stating the reasons and the period of absence, along with a medical certificate or other necessary documents, and obtain the principal's permission.
2. If a student who has taken a leave of absence wishes to return to school, they may do so by notifying the School Director and obtaining permission.
Article 15 (Admission of Transfer Students)
If there is a student wishing to transfer to our school from another Japanese language educational institution, after obtaining a transfer acceptance from the previous institution, the student may be admitted to a class that is not at full capacity for the respective course, taking into consideration the student's course and academic progress at the previous institution.
2. Enrollment for transfer students will be accepted at any time.
3. Transfer applicants shall follow the transfer procedures based on the enrollment procedures stipulated in Article 13. The amount payable shall be that specified in Article 20. However, the tuition fee at the time of transfer shall be a pro-rata amount calculated from the month of transfer up to the start date of the next term, for one term.
4. Regarding teaching materials, we will consider those used at the previous institution and purchase any additional items needed.
Article 16 (Withdrawal from School)
A person intending to withdraw from school must submit a withdrawal application form stating the reason to the dean and obtain permission.
Article 17 (Certification of Completion/Graduation)
The Director shall evaluate the learning for each subject specified in the curriculum in accordance with Article 9, and shall certify the completion of the subject for those who have received a certain evaluation.
2. The dean will award a diploma to those who have completed the prescribed curriculum of this academy.
Article 18 (Awards)
The dean may award prizes to students who have excellent academic performance and serve as role models for other students.
Article 19 (Disciplinary Actions)
If a student violates these school rules or other regulations established by the Academy, or engages in conduct unbecoming of an Academy student, the Academy Director may take disciplinary action against the student.
2. Disciplinary measures shall be of four types: reprimand, suspension, expulsion, and removal from the register.
3. The dismissals and expulsions provided for in the preceding paragraph shall be applied only to students who fall under any of the following items.
A person recognized as having incorrigible misconduct and no prospect for improvement.
(2) Those who are deemed academically inferior and unlikely to succeed in their chosen profession.
(3) Those who are absent without a justifiable reason
(4) Those who disrupt classroom order and disturb academy life.
(5) Those who have significantly violated the prohibited matters etc. stipulated in separate school rules (detailed regulations).
Chapter 5: Student Fees
Article 20 (Student Fees)
The student fees for this academy are as follows.

Article 21 (Delivery)
Students must pay tuition fees by the designated deadline for the period of enrollment, regardless of attendance.
2. If a student takes a leave of absence, the tuition fees for the equivalent period may be waived, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
3. With the approval of the Chairperson and the Dean, tuition fees may be partially or wholly waived due to special circumstances.
Article 22 (Delinquency)
If a student fails to pay tuition fees without a valid reason and without following the prescribed procedures, and there is no prospect of payment thereafter, the Dean may take necessary measures, such as expulsion.
Article 23 (Refund of Contributions)
Payments submitted will not be refunded in principle.
However, students who have paid a full year's tuition in advance will be refunded tuition for the latter half of the year only if they withdraw within six months after enrollment.
If admission is declined before enrollment, all payments except for the examination fee (selection fee) and admission fee will be refunded.
Chapter 6 Miscellaneous Provisions
Article 24 (Health Checkups)
Health check-ups are conducted once a year for all students.
Article 25 (Detailed Provisions)
The Director of the Institute shall separately stipulate necessary matters concerning the enforcement of these regulations.
